She actually first reached out to me on fb last year when she saw that I needed help finding a rental. However, when multiple landlords seemed to be less than forthcoming working with her as a realtor, she suggested that I get in touch directly, not at all concerned about the potential commission she’d lose. When I started my house hunt later in the year and began working with her, she proved herself to be extremely knowledgeable, patient, and readily available for questions and viewings. Once I found the perfect home, she did everything she could to first get my offer accepted (she submitted it almost as soon as we stepped foot in the house!) and then to ensure that the closing went smoothly. Her attentiveness to detail expedited the home sale to weeks where most “as-is” sales drag into months if you don’t want to get ripped off. Melissa’s efforts resulted in a home sale exceeding sale asking price by $20k through a competitive blitz weekend sale open-house process. Her helpfulness from listing to offers to closing included above and beyond efforts including getting heat back on after a home-viewer turned off the furnace switch and service was needed. Most agents would simply call you (and I’m in another state) and report “you got a problem”. Melissa solved it! I would call on her for any reality help in her west-side work.

Melissa was very helpful in every step of this process. From finding what I was looking for, finding a mortgage company, and being there for any question I possibly could have. I now live in the area I wanted to and for the price I want to pay. If anyone ever asked me if I know anyone that could help them find a home I will always recommend Melissa.
